A little more about me:
When I discovered UX, I knew I’d found my calling. The role requires curiosity and empathy, two mindsets that have guided my career. As a writer, I’d long used my voice to explore the plight of marginalized populations. I love that at its core, UX design is about being an advocate for people. As a designer, I’m personally committed to advocating for all people; in thoughtful, accessible, and inclusive ways. And I believe the best way I can do that is with words.
How? By using simple, directive, concise, non-gendered language, I can engage with the broadest possible audience. In leading with curiosity and empathy, I can design experiences with care -- putting people first. When I learned that there’s a growing desire for writers in the world of UX, I finally saw where my passions coalesce. The human element of the design is the writing. I love being the person who breathes that life into products. I use content design to create inclusive, helpful, and delightful digital experiences. That’s what I’m all about.
